So today I was experimenting with new recipes and came up with a delicious spice chocolate cupcakes recipe. However I didn't wanted to go with the traditional topping aka frosting for this cupcakes so I came up with having a delicious chocolate ganache instead.
In this blog I am sharing with you a easy yet perfect glaze to top up your cupcakes or even your ice cream.
6 oz of dark chocolate chips
2/3 cup of coconut cream
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1. On a small saucepan heat the cream on low heat. Do not boil it, just heat it enough to melt the chocolate. If it is too hot it will burn the chocolate or if it is cold the chocolate won't melt right and will stay lumpy.
2. On a heatproof bowl add in the chocolate chips and when the cream is heated pour into the chocolate.
3. Leave the cream alone for a minute, this will allow the chocolate to start melting, then stir slowly just until chocolate is completely melted. If you stir too much this will cause the ganache to become dull and grainy.
4. Use as desired or store up to 5 days in an airtight container.
5. Buen Provecho ladies!
